We’re Dan and Laura Pinckard — a husband-and-wife photography team based in the Lehigh Valley, PA, working with couples and planners who care deeply about how their day looks, feels, and is remembered.
Between us, we’ve photographed hundreds of weddings and elopements across the United States and around the world. We’ve stood on cliffs in Ireland, hiked into the Adirondacks before sunrise, and documented receptions on yachts off the coast of St. Lucia. Every location teaches us something. Every couple shows us something new.
We are Nikon Creators and have taught photography to professionals on multiple continents. Our work has been featured in national and international publications.
None of that is why we do this. We do this because we genuinely believe that great wedding photography changes how people carry their memories. And we take that seriously.

We didn’t have the wedding we actually wanted.
In 2016 we got married with two hundred guests, a packed timeline, and a day that moved faster than either of us could keep up with. It felt like we barely got to experience it.
That day — the one we planned for months and barely felt — is the reason we photograph weddings the way we do. We know what it feels like to be at your own celebration and still somehow miss it. We’ve made it our work to make sure that never happens to the couples we photograph.
We discovered elopement photography a year later and fell completely in love with it. The intimacy. The slow pace. The way a small ceremony in the right place can feel bigger than any ballroom. Since then we’ve helped hundreds of couples elope in beautiful locations — and photographed some of the most beautiful weddings we’ve ever seen along the way. Our passion has evolved beyond the size of the ceremony; what we care about most is being a part of weddings with intention.
We built our career around the belief that extraordinary photography is the result of extraordinary relationships. We don’t take on more work than we can give our full attention to. We don’t treat a wedding like a transaction. And we never stop trying to make the next gallery better than the last.
